I would like to win the Uniden LRD850, because I want to upgrade a used Cobra XRS-9330 that I got in my school’s drumline’s rummage sale (it works, but it’ll alert when I’m right beside the source; I had gotten it for $3 haha). Only once did that RD legitimately save me from a speeding ticket. I’ll just use it to be more aware of when officers are running radar/laser and verify that I am going the speed limit.

I want to win the Escort SC55 to mount it next to my Escort redline in my 1990 Mustang to aid me in avoiding highway patrol

First of all, I really enjoy the videos and information that you post. Nice job. I’m actually buying a redline this holiday season and would love to pair it with the SC55 to get the extra capabilities that you see in other detectors. I tend to drive on roads with multiple speed traps and red light cameras so I feel that this would be a valuable addition to my already ordered redline!

Just received my redline yesterday, and would love to pair it with the sc55 to give me the extra edge against redlight cams.
But it would be also cool to get some mystery gifts as well.

I would like to win the SC55, as it would prompt me to get a detector to use with it (the lack of GPS is the main thing that has kept me from getting a Redline or STI Magnum since I started watching your channel, I did not know this awesome device existed!) or the Uniden 850. Three years ago, when we first started dating, my girlfriend gave me a Cobra radar detector and I have been using it ever since. It has saved me a few times on long highway drives, but I realize it’s range is basically line of sight (I always assumed that’s how all radar detectors are). After watching your YouTube videos, I realize that there are much better options and that not all detectors false alert over every new car and automatic door and some have really good range. If I were to win, I would be able to upgrade from the Cobra and actually have some protection when driving around.
Also this is not a bribe, but you are more than welcome to have the Cobra to use in your tests, it may be interesting to see how this average BestBuy detector, that I feel lots of uninformed people buy, compares to the nicer ones and why people should save their money.

Hi Vortex, I would like to win the Uniden. I have a 2008 G37 that is not protected and not able to afford a radar detector right now. I am subscribed to many of your posts on RDF and Youtube and recently asked you about the laser testing so you know I’m looking!!! Thanks again for all of your hard work and research!! Merry Christmas!

My deal for a Redline fell through (Saw it on eBay after he canceled the meet up) So the Uniden LRD850 would be a much welcomed gift! I currently have a Cobra ESD7100 I got for $20 on CL, but after watching your YouTube channel this is just not good enough! The Uniden LRD850 seems like a really solid choice! The mystery gifts don’t sound half bad either!

Your YouTube channel has taught me so much about radar detectors and radar guns it is a really great source of information. Also your website is looking good.

    Hello Vortex
    Thanks for the give-away treat.

I’d like the Bushnell Velocity Radar Gun in order to verify the stop watch timings I have made of the squirrels running through my yard.
If my preliminary research proves accurate, they will be proven to exceed the posted speed limit at the local Leo hide-away.
The goal would then be to gather up all the squirrels, and release them one by one into the speed trap.
A friend will video the Leo, and if the results are not confiscated they will be posted on the forum

Once the chuckling & bail-bonding is done, I would then like to test the dual StiR plus (front/rear) set up on my car.
I am especially interested to learn the height & width (angles) of coverage

    Best regards for the holidays

Thanks for all your informative videos. They helped me choose a V1, YAV1, dedicated Android phone, and a Blendmount solution. Since we’re planning on going on MINIUSAs ‘MINIs Take The States’ adventure in 2016 (4,000 mile trip through dozens of states from the East to the West coast) I would certainly appreciate winning a private session. I’m trying to determine the best wiring approach to neatly support everything. I saw your video on Blendmount and the Inviscord but I’m wondering if there is another alternative that would better fit the situation I have in a MINI Roadster.

    Thanks again

    Ed Venners

I would love the unidin 850. I am a new to the community and would like to start off in the community but am not in the position to buy one. A 850 would be amazing for my commute to school and work on the highway. A surprise gift would be nice to to give to my father bc his birthday is coming up and it would make a nice gift. He has a max 2 thank you

Honestly I’d be really interested in winning the private chat session. I’ve got an abundance of questions and have been in the market for a detector for a while now. I’m willing, but hesitant to spend a lot on a high end detector. Big thanks for all you do on the channel.

    1. Congratulations! You got it!! 😀

Send me a message and we’ll get you all squared away.

      Happy New Year!
